java.lang.Object
java.lang.Enum<PatternKind>
io.github.teceli.resiliencia.core.api.PatternKind
All Implemented Interfaces:
Serializable, Comparable<PatternKind>, Constable

public enum PatternKind extends Enum<PatternKind>
The kind of a resilience pattern, used for internal identity checks — e.g. Policy order validation — without coupling to concrete pattern types. This is not an observability concept: human-readable identification (events, metrics, logs) uses Resilient.patternName() instead.

    • RETRY

      public static final PatternKind RETRY
    • TIMEOUT

      public static final PatternKind TIMEOUT
    • CIRCUIT_BREAKER

      public static final PatternKind CIRCUIT_BREAKER
    • BULKHEAD

      public static final PatternKind BULKHEAD
    • RATE_LIMITER

      public static final PatternKind RATE_LIMITER
    • CUSTOM

      public static final PatternKind CUSTOM
      A user-defined Resilient implementation that is none of the built-in patterns. Order validation makes no assumptions about custom patterns.
  • Method Details

    • values

      public static PatternKind[] values()
      Returns an array containing the constants of this enum class, in the order they are declared.
      Returns:

    • valueOf

      public static PatternKind valueOf(String name)

      Parameters:
      name - the name of the enum constant to be returned.
      Returns:
      the enum constant with the specified name
      Throws:
      IllegalArgumentException - if this enum class has no constant with the specified name
      NullPointerException - if the argument is null
